We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join a growing team in Oakland, CA
. This onsite role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings hands‑on experience across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll
. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial operations and supporting overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process full‑cycle Accounts Payable
    , including invoice coding, vendor payments, and discrepancy resolution
  • Manage Accounts Receivable functions, including billing, cash applications, and collections follow‑up
  • Prepare and process payroll while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies
  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger activities on a regular basis
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month‑end close activities
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of accounting experience with a focus on AP, AR, and payroll functions
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, or similar ERP systems)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and reconciliations
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work onsite in Oakland, CA and contribute in a team‑oriented environment
