Senior Tax Professional

Oakland, CA. This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days per week in the office.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of tax engagements, partner with business owners and individual clients, and contribute to a collaborative environment focused on delivering high‑quality client service. The position provides strong visibility across the organization, opportunities for professional growth, and exposure to a diverse range of tax matters.

• Prepare and review tax filings for business and individual clients.
• Conduct tax research and assist with planning initiatives and client advisory projects.
• Analyze tax‑related issues and develop practical recommendations.
• Support client engagements by managing deliverables and maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members and assist in developing less experienced professionals.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters, deadlines, and planning opportunities.

• 3+ years of tax experience in a public accounting or professional services environment.
• Experience preparing and reviewing a variety of tax returns for businesses and individuals.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and research principles.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills.
• CPA, EA, or progress toward a professional tax credential preferred.

Compensation is based on skill set, experience, certifications, location, and business needs. Salary range will be provided in the posting. Eligible for discretionary bonuses and participation in medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) retirement benefits.
