Senior Accountant

Description

The Senior Accountant should be meticulous and reliable with a strong understanding of accounting principles. They will have a problem-solving attitude with exceptional analytical thinking capabilities, aiming to streamline our accounting functions and operations, providing accurate financial information to the organization.

+ Oversee all the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and bank reconciliations.

+ Manage and complete month-end close process accurately and timely.

+ Handle all aspects of cash applications including recording and tracking all payment transactions.

+ Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions by verifying, posting, and balancing entries in Quick Books.

+ Process payroll, employee benefits, and related tax filings.

+ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and reports.

+ Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.

+ Maintain records of business costs, such as labor and material.

+ Maintain complete and up-to-date filing system to support financial records.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).

+ Proven experience as a full-charge bookkeeper.

+ Proficiency in Quick Books and MS Office, particularly excellent in MS Excel.

+ Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

+ Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
