Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a one of our clients located in Oakland, California looking to fill a Staff Accountant job. The job is 100% in-office! The right candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as an Accountant with an emphasis on accounts payable and accounts receivable and be comfortable with a small team. The role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, analyze and create financial reports for AP and AR, maintenance of the general ledger, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications for the job include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred or an Associate Degree with additional experience
• Strong accounts payable and accounts receivable experience
• Solid general accounting and GAAP principles
• Attention to detail, problem-solver, and analytical
• Excellent communications skills written & verbal and a team player
• Software experience with Quickbooks and Net Suite experience would be beneficial
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (intermediate/advanced able to do pivot tables and vlookups)

Experience:

3 years of accounting experience (Staff Accountant, Accounting Specialist, Accounting Clerk)

Employment Type:

Temp to Perm

Pay: $32 to $35 DOE
