Accounts Payable Specialist

Description

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist looking for a new opportunity with a growing organization? Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support accounts payable functions for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will have impeccable accuracy, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

+ Process high-volume invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.

+ Match invoices with purchase orders and verify discrepancies for resolution.

+ Maintain detailed and organized vendor records and reconcile statements.

+ Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines.

+ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment issues.

+ Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

+ Assist in improving workflows and processes for accounts payable efficiencies.

Requirements

+ Associate's degree in accounting or finance, or related experience preferred.

+ 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience.

+ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, or Oracle) and Excel.

+ Strong understanding of general accounting principles and procedures.

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

+ Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
