- Journal Entries & Account Reconciliations: Prepare and review journal entries. Reconcile 100% of balance sheet accounts monthly
- Month-end close: Support the monthly close process, ensuring deadlines are met and results are accurate and compliant with US GAAP, and speed up the close to a 4 to 5 day timeline
- Reporting: Produce recurring cash reporting (monthly at minimum, ideally weekly) and the monthly close package, including GAAP financials, reconciliation to non‑GAAP measures (including EBITDA), and cash analysis
- Team management: Manage a team of two initially (may increase next year), including day‑to‑day supervision, workload assignment, and review
- Cross-functional: Partner cross‑functionally with FP&A, external consultants, and other departments on special projects
- Process improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization to increase efficiency and accuracy
- AI & automation: Identify and implement AI‑driven automation for journal entries and accounting workflows to improve accuracy and accelerate the close process
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 1-2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role
- Experience managing month‑end and year‑end close in a fast‑paced environment
- Hands‑on experience with accounts payable and procurement operations

- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial reporting tools
