Nadia Yakoob & Associates is a fast-paced, award-winning boutique immigration law firm that focuses primarily on business immigration with some family, criminal and asylum matters. We have openings for full-time legal assistants. We are looking for self-motivated and diligent individuals to work at our office in Oakland City Center (right off 12th Street BART Station).
The duties and responsibilities of the position involve:
- Assembling petitions, applications and support letters for temporary employment-based visas, permanent residence, naturalization, and asylum, among others.
- Preparing petitions, applications and other immigration documents for filing.
- Scheduling meetings and calls with clients.
- Calendaring follow ups.
- Monitoring case status expiry dates.
- Preparing monthly case status reports.
- Helping out with social media and blogposts.
Experience working with Dropbox, Google suite, Office, and Adobe highly preferred.
