Overview
The Senior Contracts and Grants Analyst serves a critical role within the Sponsored Research Programs (SRP) department at the UCR School of Medicine by providing high-level, independent administration of complex sponsored research awards. This position is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts and grants for a diverse portfolio of SOM departments, including proposal development and submission, award analysis, post-award financial management, compliance oversight, and closeout activities.
The incumbent applies expert knowledge of federal and non-federal sponsor regulations, institutional policies, and research administration best practices to advise faculty, department administrators, and campus partners, while ensuring the effective stewardship of sponsored funds and supporting the School of Medicine s research mission.
- Provide high-level, independent administration of complex sponsored research awards within the Sponsored Research Programs (SRP) department at the UCR School of Medicine.
- Manage the full lifecycle of contracts and grants for a diverse portfolio of SOM departments, including proposal development and submission, award analysis, post-award financial management, compliance oversight, and closeout activities.
- Apply expert knowledge of federal and non-federal sponsor regulations, institutional policies, and research administration best practices to advise faculty, department administrators, and campus partners.
- Support the School of Medicine s research mission through the effective stewardship of sponsored funds.
The full salary range for the Senior Contracts and Grants Analyst is $68,500 - $121,900 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $95,200 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
