We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Project Administrator for our rapidly growing construction firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction industry, with a particular focus on permits, project files, and document control. This role is critical to our operations, playing a vital role in ensuring our projects are executed efficiently and effectively. With your expertise, you will help us maintain our reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget.

Salary: $28 - $35 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, quality, and integrity.
  • Maintain a comprehensive and organized system for document control, including permits, project files, and other essential records.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather all necessary documentation and information.
  • Review and process permit applications in accordance with local and national regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project teams and senior management.
  • Identify potential issues or delays and recommend solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to project teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
  • Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proven expertise in managing permits, project files, and document control.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Proficient in using project management software and other related technology.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
