Site Manager, Construction Manager/ Foreman
We re building a lean California field organization for larger restoration, reconstruction, renovation, and construction projects. You run real projects in the Bay Area territory from day one as Apex Works local authority on the job, turning approved scopes and plans into safe, predictable field progress.
What you ll own- Field execution across multiple concurrent projects in your territory
- Short-interval plans, milestone schedules, subcontractor sequencing, and daily site logistics
- Jobsite readiness, and permits, jurisdiction comments, and inspections — including the meetings with inspectors
- Subcontractors within their signed scopes: manpower, materials, quality, completion, and correction of deficient work
- Field coordination with owners, property managers, designers, engineers, utilities, and neighbors
- Plans and specifications — conflicts caught early, field conditions documented, answers driven before work is blocked
- Stopping unsafe or deficient work, holding progress evidence, and owning punch and closeout
- Escalating scope, price, contract, safety, and material-schedule risk early, with a recommended next step
Your field authority covers the daily sequence, site logistics, and ordinary recovery plans. Commercial and scope changes need written approval.

What you bring- 5+ years of construction field leadership in restoration, reconstruction, renovation, or general construction
- Evidence you have run several active projects without daily supervision
- Plan reading, subcontractor coordination, inspections, sequencing, logistics, safety, and quality-control judgment
- A record of finding constraints early, communicating bad news honestly, and closing the last ten percent
- Clear communication with clients, inspectors, design professionals, subcontractors, and leadership
- Based within driving distance of Bay Area projects, with a valid driver s license and reliable transportation
- Comfort using a phone for schedules, photos, daily evidence, and commitments
Deliver reliable milestones, clean documentation, and sound field judgment across projects, and you take on a full territory — then step into Regional Project Superintendent and its compensation. We d rather promote someone who proved it here than hire a stranger.
Compensation- $71,000–$85,000 base salary
, depending on demonstrated field leadership and project scope - $25,000–$40,000 target performance bonus tied to milestone reliability, quality, inspections, documentation, and closeout — real upside on top of base from day one, and stretch performance can earn up to 150% of target Safety, candor, required quality, and documented change control are payout gates
- $96,000–$125,000 target total cash in year one — base plus target bonus
- Defined path to Regional Project Superintendent compensation — pay scales up as you take on a territory and its authority, reviewed against clear field bars, not tenure
- Necessary approved business travel is reimbursed under a written policy, and a company vehicle or fuel card may be assigned during high-mileage phases. Ordinary commuting is not reimbursed
- W-2 employment — steady payroll, taxes withheld, workers comp covered
- Paid time off and paid holidays
