Social Content Creator Intern (Paid)

The Oakland Ballers are seeking a Social Content Creator Intern to work full-time during the upcoming 2026 baseball season (mid-May through the end of September). The Social Content Creator Intern is responsible for creating and posting authentic and engaging social and video content across platforms including Instagram, X, Youtube, Tik Tok, and Facebook. The ideal candidate is a social native content creator who is wildly creative, prolific, and adept at generating consistently compelling content with strong Oakland vibes.

(We especially need help with Tik Tok)

A strong candidate will have a command of storytelling and a demonstrated ability to create sticky content that cuts through the noise. We are looking for someone who can create written posts with a clever editorial voice, elegant visual posts, and must-watch short video content. We are a baseball team, but we are also an Oakland lifestyle brand - and our social channels are the main medium where we can consistently express ourselves and our values.

Qualifications

• Experience creating social content for platforms including Instagram, X, Youtube, Tik Tok, and Facebook.
• Ability to shoot and edit video for social on phone
• Ability to create fun/authentic "off the field" content with the players
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other graphic design tools
• Understanding of the rich cultural landscape and sports landscape in Oakland
• Strong writing skills
• Experience with social media metrics and analytic tools a plus
• Ability to work independently and with a team and manage time effectively
• Prolific ability to develop and execute creative ideas

This is a paid internship. We can always explore college credit if your university allows it.
