Our client seeks an Architectural Project Manager to partner with the Studio Director to lead multifamily projects from schematic design through contract documents and construction administration. Based in downtown Oakland with a hybrid schedule, this role oversees documentation quality, schedules, budgets, consultants, and team mentorship, leveraging strong Revit skills and Type I and V construction experience. Salary: $100,000–$130,000 with comprehensive benefits and professional development support.
Responsibilities- Lead projects from schematic design through construction documents and into construction administration
- Collaborate closely with the Studio Director, designers, project teams, and internal Quality Control
- Oversee complete contract documents, including redlining drawings and specifications
- Monitor project budgets, billings, and schedules to ensure efficient delivery of design intent
- Prepare and manage additional service requests and related documentation
- Coordinate and manage consultants across disciplines to align with project goals
- Train, mentor, and support the documentation team to elevate quality and efficiency
- Support and perform construction administration tasks as needed
- Ensure adherence to firm standards, building codes, and QA/QC processes
- Utilize Revit to drive documentation accuracy and coordination
- Minimum 5 years as a Project Manager on multi‑family projects
- Strong experience with Type I and Type V construction
- Proficiency with Revit (required)
- Construction administration experience (preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi‑task
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (required)
- California licensed Architect preferred but not required
- Ability to work in‑office 3–4 days per week in downtown Oakland with Friday from home
