WhatYou Will Do
- Manage client communication, project coordination, and collaboration with general contractors, ensuring full documentation alignment with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, civil, and specialty consultants.
- Lead technical communication and coordination across the project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants, and permitting agencies.
- Conduct code and accessibility reviews and prepare clear, comprehensive reports.
- Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex design and construction challenges.
- Prepare and maintain all project documentation, including construction documents, project manuals, and specifications.
- Mentor and guide team members on construction documentation standards, constructability, and code requirements.
- Conduct on‑site observations and produce accurate field reports.
- Manage construction‑phase services, including processing submittals, RFIs, substitution requests, and related documentation.
- Interface with building and permitting officials throughout permitting and construction, HCAI and local jurisdictions.
- Perform QA review of project deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with 8+ years of relevant healthcare experience.
- Licensed Architect in the State of California.
- Direct HCAI project experience.
- Strong technical expertise, including experience resolving complex design and construction issues.
- Broad knowledge of building codes, standards, and U.S. industry regulations, with direct experience on design‑build projects.
- Proven ability to produce clear, thorough, and accurate technical documentation.
- Extensive experience coordinating full project documentation with structural, MEP, civil, and specialty consultants.
- Ability to effectively manage client communication, multidisciplinary teams, and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Revit (required).
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse team structures.
- The base salary will be estimated between $118,000–$135,000 plus bonuses and benefits, and is contingent on relevant experience.
