We are recruiting two pediatric cardiac intensive care trained physicians to join our expanding Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care and Congenital Heart Surgery Program at Kaiser Oakland Medical Center. These positions support the inpatient pediatric cardiac population and congenital heart surgery program, with responsibilities tailored to each candidate s training and board certifications.

Qualifications
- Dual board certification in Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Critical Care preferred
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology and/or Pediatric Critical Care
- Pediatric cardiac intensive care training required
- Must be eligible for a California medical license (or currently licensed in CA)
- Strong clinical, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- CVICU experience is a plus
Role & Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Inpatient care of pediatric cardiac surgical, interventional cardiology, and congenital heart disease patients within the CVICU at Kaiser Oakland Medical Center
- Active participation in a collaborative, interdisciplinary congenital heart program
Depending on training background and board certifications, responsibilities may also include:
- Outpatient pediatric cardiology clinic
- Pediatric ICU (PICU) coverage

Full-time annual salary range is $329,220 to $340,020 based on experience and training. Plus, additional potential incentives of $30,090. Salary range is based on a full-time schedule. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
