Overview
Head-Royce School is seeking a full-time Lower School Spanish teacher to join our team, beginning in August 2026. We seek teachers who are excited by the content they teach and who are actively engaged in evolving their classroom pedagogy. The Lower School Spanish teacher will be responsible for teaching introductory Spanish in grades kindergarten through 5th grade.

We seek applicants who have a strong academic background, experience in culturally responsive teaching, a deep understanding of adolescents, and a genuine fondness for working with all students at this specific age level.
Responsibilities- Teach introductory Spanish to students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
- Engage in ongoing professional growth and evolution of classroom pedagogy.
- Potentially participate in Upper School duties such as advising and school community life.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Language and/or Literature or equivalent area of study
- Fluent or Native Spanish speaker
- 2 years minimum teaching experience
- Demonstrated desire to teach at the appropriate school level
- Proven ability to teach a variety of Spanish classes at the appropriate level
- Ability to provide proof of Fingerprint, SB848 and TB clearance
- Advanced degrees/certification are desirable in Spanish or Spanish education
$75,000 - $125,000 a year

Compliance
: HRS is unable to provide immigration sponsor ships such as H1B visas.
