Minimum Qualifications- Possession of a Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in any Biological Science.
- OR possession of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in any Biological Science.
- AND a Master’s Degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, or Marine Science.
- OR may submit a fully satisfied lifetime California Community College Instructor Credential authorizing service to teach courses in Biology.
- OR the equivalent qualifications (conclusive evidence, as clear and reliable on the college transcripts as required on the District Equivalency Application Form).
- AND applicant must have demonstrated cultural competency, sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college staff, faculty, and students.

Conditions of Employment- Tuberculosis Examination: successful candidate must submit evidence (skin test or X‑ray) of being free of tuberculosis within the past sixty (60) days.
