Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Instructional Aide / Paraprofessional to support students in school-based settings across Oakland and surrounding East Bay areas. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working flexible school-hour schedules.

Since 2004, we’ve grown to over 100 staff across school districts, early intervention, clinics, and preschools. We value collaboration, mentorship, and empowering both our team and the children we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 or small group classroom support to students
- Assist with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals
- Support special education teachers and classroom staff
- Implement instructional and behavior plans under supervision
- Track and communicate student progress with the school team
- Required: Minimum 2 years of experience working with children (school, special education, ABA, childcare, or related settings)
- Experience with special needs students preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to school sites
- Professional, dependable, and committed to working with students
- $26–$30/hour (based on experience)
- Flexible part-time schedules (school hours)
