Ascend Rehab Services is seeking a reliable and experienced Part‑Time Instructional Aide / Paraprofessional to support students in school‑based settings across Oakland and surrounding East Bay areas

Ascend Rehab Services Inc. is a pediatric‑focused, woman‑led organization serving children and families across Northern California. Since 2004, we’ve grown to over 100 staff across school districts, early intervention, clinics, and preschools
. We value collaboration, mentorship, and empowering both our team and the children we serve.
- Provide 1:1 or small group classroom support to students
- Assist with academic, behavioral, and social‑emotional goals
- Support special education teachers and classroom staff
- Implement instructional and behavior plans under supervision
- Track and communicate student progress with the school team
- Required:
Minimum 2 years of experience working with children (school, special education, ABA, childcare, or related settings) - Experience with special needs students preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to school sites
- Professional, dependable, and committed to working with students
- $26–$30/hour (based on experience)
- Flexible part‑time schedules (school hours)
