Student Activities Funding Board - Assistant Chair

As Assistant Chair, you will:

• Work directly with the SAFB Chair to support board meetings and daily operations.
• Support communication and coordination between SAFB and student organizations.
• Ideal for students interested in leadership, campus involvement, and financial decision‑making.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with Oakland University student organizations and campus culture.
• Availability to attend regular SAFB meetings.

• Previous involvement in student organizations or campus leadership roles.
• Experience with budgeting, finance, or resource allocation.
• Familiarity with Oakland University policies and student organization processes.
• Problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Interest in student engagement, governance, or campus programming.

This position begins May 25th, 2026. It has a maximum of 10 hours per week in the Summer semester and a maximum of 20 hours per week in the Fall and Winter semesters.
