This full‑time contract position focuses on students in grades K‑2 with moderate to severe needs, primarily on the autism spectrum. With a manageable caseload capped at 10 students and two dedicated classroom paraprofessionals per room, you’ll have the resources necessary for impactful teaching and meaningful connections.

Desired Qualifications- California Education Specialist Instruction Credential with Moderate/Severe authorization (active and in good standing)
- Experience in special education settings, particularly with elementary‑aged children on the autism spectrum
- Proficiency or familiarity with Teach Town and TEACCH highly beneficial
- Ability to create inclusive, structured classroom environments with differentiation and behavioral support
- Strong collaborative skills and a passion for teamwork with colleagues and paraprofessionals
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Leading classroom instruction for K‑2 students, supported by two full‑time paraprofessionals
- Collaborating with other educators, specialists, and families to ensure holistic support
- Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Adapting instructional strategies and resources for optimal student growth
