We are looking for passionate and dedicated educators to create joyful, healing, and liberatory spaces of learning for Oakland students, families, and communities. Responsibilities include:

• Teach preparation and science subjects for elementary students.
• Develop and implement engaging curriculum aligned with district standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create inclusive learning environments.
• Provide ongoing assessment and feedback to students.
• Participate in professional development and mentorship programs.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree, be eligible for employment in the US, and pass a criminal background check. Candidates must possess or be willing to earn a California teaching credential. Candidates must have two current professional references on file, including one from a previous supervisor. Candidates must disclose every California school district, County Office of Education, charter school, or state special school they have worked for to satisfy AB2534 requirements.

• Postgraduate Certificate degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
