Overview

The Admissions Specialist serves as a representative of the University of California, Riverside and supports undergraduate enrollment goals through recruitment, admissions evaluation, and outreach activities. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with high schools, community colleges, counselors, students, families, and community-based organizations within assigned recruitment territories.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct recruitment presentations, college fairs, workshops, campus events, webinars, and other outreach activities.
  • Provide guidance on admissions requirements, academic programs, and the admissions process.
  • Evaluate undergraduate applications and apply University of California admissions policies and campus guidelines to determine applicant eligibility.
  • Support yield initiatives, special projects, and departmental programs designed to increase applications, enrollment, and student engagement.
  • Collaborate with campus partners and utilize enrollment management systems and data tools to support outreach efforts and monitor territory performance.
  • Contribute to strategic enrollment initiatives.
  • Travel as required, including evening and weekend commitments during peak recruitment periods.
Compensation

The full salary range for this position is $64,050.00 – $. The expected pay scale for this position is $64,050.00 – $70,000.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Additional Information

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
