Step It Up Animation Instructor
Oakland School for the Arts seeks passionate and creative Step It Up Animation Instructors to provide engaging arts instruction to students in grades 5–8 through OSA's Step It Up after-school arts access program. The Step It Up Animation Instructor will design and facilitate a 10-session instructional unit that introduces students to foundational skills, creative exploration, and artistic expression within their discipline.
Instructors will develop their own curriculum, including lesson plans, scope and sequence, and instructional objectives, which must be reviewed and approved by the Director of Enrollment prior to the start of instruction. The ideal candidate is passionate about arts education, youth development, and creating inclusive learning environments that encourage students to explore their creativity and build confidence.
