Network Engineer - Public Transit Agency Project (via MGT)
Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid - 4 days onsite)
MGT, a national leader in public sector consulting celebrating 52 years in 2026, seeks a skilled Network Engineer for its public sector client. The role includes break/fix support on critical infrastructure. Specialize in F5, Fortinet, Juniper core routing, and Arista—handle production incidents with precision in a high-stakes transit environment.
Required Skills & Experience- Fortinet, F5 load balancers (VIPs, pools, SSL offload), Juniper L2/L3 routing, Arista
- Respond promptly to network incidents impacting production
- Deliver remote/onsite break/fix support; coordinate configs with agency IT
- Troubleshoot Juniper routing, F5 administration
- Maintain detailed documentation of actions/recommendations.
