Position Overview
Project Manager – Insight Global (Oakland, CA)
A solid communicator and problem solver. Responsible for supporting electric Transmission & Distribution (T&D) project and program management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage electric T&D projects and programs.
- Coordinate reconductoring of electric overhead and underground cables.
- Oversee projects involving Rule 20A compliance for underground facilities within municipal pre‑determined sections.
- Manage capacity projects for new feeder services to meet growing electrical demand.
- Execute reliability projects involving reconductoring of deteriorated conductors.
- Ensure proper FLISR/SCADA connectivity and usage.
- Engage in telecommunication fiber projects where applicable.
- Experience with reconductoring electric overhead and underground cables.
- Knowledge of Rule 20A for underground facilities within municipalities.
- Experience with capacity projects involving new feeder services.
- Experience with reliability projects involving reconductoring.
- Knowledge of FLISR/SCADA connectivity and usage.
- Experience with telecommunication fiber projects.
- Desired industry background:
Utilities (Electric, Substation, Transmission), Gas & Oil, Refinery, Petrochemical.
