You'll work independently, applying engineering principles with minimal supervision, and collaborate with a diverse team to assess project needs. This role involves developing technical studies, guiding contractors, and traveling for project-related functions approximately 20% of the time.

• Resolve moderate scope problems using standard solutions
• Independently plan work under general direction
• Provide technical expertise and conduct engineering analyses
• Present findings to internal teams, contractors, and vendors
• Prepare technical documents including design criteria and reports
• Develop and recommend alternative project proposals
• Review consultant contracts for technical compliance
• Interpret and apply applicable codes and regulations
• Assist in developing restoration plans and root cause analysis
• Respond promptly to facility failures in emergencies
• Represent PG&E to government bodies for assigned projects

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited US curriculum or equivalent
• 3 years of cumulative experience in engineering and design

• Experience in electrical transmission line engineering for 115kv–500kv
• Familiarity with GO 95, NESC, and PG&E transmission line standards
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, etc.
• Strong project management skills
