Civil Engineer (7-12 Years)

Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated Civil Engineer with seven (7) to twelve (12) years of experience providing comprehensive civil engineering services, from initial feasibility through design, permitting and construction support for our Bay Area office. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team, and be willing to have fun.

The position will involve a mix of technical design and consulting, construction support, and new project scoping and proposal writing. Compensation and Benefits

• Approximate Base Salary – $97k-140k based on experience
• Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate
• Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance
• Hybrid Work Schedule (subject to change)
• 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• Current registration as an EIT, required
• Registration as a Civil Professional Engineer (P.E.), preferred
• 7 to 12 years of experience in civil design, permitting and construction administration in a variety of market sectors related to site development
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations; technical studies; and preparation of public improvement, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility plans
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience in a multi-discipline setting preferred
• Ability to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team player with the ability to think critically and solve problems
• The motivation to learn the latest technologies and practices to enhance your professional career
• Excellent time management skills
