Senior Highway & Bridge Project Manager

What You’ll Do- Lead large and complex roadway and highway projects in support of multimodal improvements from concept development through detailed design and construction support.
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams and ensure successful delivery aligned with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with state and local transportation agencies (e.g., Caltrans, regional planning organizations, city/county partners).
- Support business development activities, including client engagement, proposal strategy, pursuit leadership, and market growth initiatives.
- Mentor project managers and engineers, promoting a collaborative and high‑performance team culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in California, or the ability to obtain one within one year.
- 20+ years of roadway design experience with a minimum of 10 years of project management experience delivering large, complex roadway, interchange, or multimodal improvement projects.
- Proven success managing projects for public transportation agencies, such as Caltrans or local municipalities.
- Demonstrated leadership experience guiding project teams and influencing technical and strategic outcomes.
- 10+ years of experience in business development, including client relationship management and growth strategy execution.
- Well‑established professional network in the Southern California transportation market.

The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
