Your impactAs a Senior Construction Management Professional, you’ll join our collaborative team providing our clients with award‑winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design‑build project delivery. You’ll be responsible for the safety, technical, contractual, budget and schedule activities on medium to large transit projects. By utilizing your expertise you will take lead to develop and deliver on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules;
you’ll help our teams achieve our client’s objectives. Your keen ability to multi‑task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast‑paced environment. You’ll bring your expertise to solve complex problems, ensuring the success of our projects for our clients.
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture
- 20+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager
- Proven experience within the construction industry, BART, Caltrain, or other similar rail transit agency experience
- Proven experience managing construction in rail operating environment
- Experience managing various rail systems construction projects including Train Control, Signaling, Communications, Traction Power, and Track
- Require working from client’s project office a minimum of three days per week
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- Proven Experience managing projects in excess of $200 million
- A California PE (Professional Engineer) license
Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same.
No foot controls necessary. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be occasional travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery.

The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
