Join our team as a QA Test Engineer

Demonstrated industry experience in coordinating the design and execution of a product development program from prototype to mass production is a must.

• Support test design and execution of complex systems, readying for production and field deployment
• Early stage assembly of prototypes.
• Designing test fixtures and rigs to support test execution
• Own verification and validation aspects of team projects.
• Test assembly process and communicate with design engineers.
• Support compliance activities and analysis to ensure product quality and human safety
• Contribute to deployment readiness
  , including testing feedback loops, documentation, and test support
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (vendors, contractors, and clients) as needed

• BS in electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• 2 year industry experience in testing and validation of hardware products
• Proficient with scripting languages like python
• Proficiency in communicating with cross-disciplinary stakeholders for taking mechanical or electrical measurements, describing behavior, etc.
• Experience in electronics, sensor and actuator integration
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively to colleagues
• Ability to work with external stakeholders such as vendors and clients
• Proficient in AI-powered agentic workflows such as Claude Code, Codex, etc.

This is an on‑site position, requiring in‑person presence at our office in Oakland, CA and/or client site in San Francisco, CA. May require frequent travel to client deployment sites such as in Texas.

• $116K - $140K annual salary
