Role DescriptionJoin our team as an Electrical Engineer - Robotics and play a pivotal role in transforming the landscape of technology. This position offers the unique opportunity to delve into complex challenges, applying your engineering expertise to design and coordinate hardware and software platforms working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated industry experience in coordinating the design and execution of a hardware product development program from prototype to mass production is a must.

Responsibilities- PCB Schematic capture and layout for our clients and in-house projects
- Design and validation of robotic electrical systems
- Design of manufacturing test fixtures and firmware
- Guidance of product through manufacturing
- BOM management, sourcing of parts from suppliers
- Ownership of electrical systems as part of a multidisciplinary project team
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- 2 year industry experience in electrical engineering role
- Proficient in PCB design and manufacturing using tools such as Altium, KiCAD, EAGLE, OrCAD
- Experience with firmware development and PCB bring-up
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively to colleagues
- Ability to work with external stakeholders such as vendors and clients
- Previous robotics or autonomous systems experience
- Previous experience with one or more:
High power systems, sensitive sensor interfaces, high-speed differential signal layout - Experience with AI enhanced workflows using tools like Claude
This is an on-site position, requiring in-person presence at our office in Oakland, CA and/or client site in San Francisco, CA. May require occasional travel to client deployment sites.
- $116K - $140K annual salary
