I’m working with a well-funded energy storage company that is scaling a next-generation battery platform into commercial manufacturing.

They are looking for a Senior / Staff Supplier Industrialization Engineer with strong experience across welding, fabricated metal assemblies, sheet metal, and supplier launch.

This is not a reactive supplier quality role. The focus is earlier and more technical: working with design engineering and external suppliers to influence manufacturability, review drawings, support DFM, validate weld processes, qualify tooling, and ensure suppliers are ready for production ramp.

Relevant experience could include:

• Robotic welding, laser welding, MIG/TIG, resistance welding, or structural weldments
• Welded assemblies, frames, enclosures, battery trays, chassis, brackets, or fabricated structures
• Sheet metal, stamping, bending, laser cutting, forming, coatings, and secondary processes
• Weld fixtures, dimensional control, tooling reviews, GD&T, DFM/DFA, and drawing redlines
• APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, control plans, supplier audits, corrective actions, and launch readiness
• Supplier selection, RFQs, tooling kickoff, FAT/SAT, pilot builds, and production ramp

This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to work at the intersection of design, suppliers, welding/process validation, quality, and manufacturing scale-up.

It could suit someone from automotive, EV, battery systems, heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, chassis/BIW suppliers, industrial fabrication, or advanced manufacturing environments.
