Billing Analyst

We have an awesome opportunity to work in a fast-paced high volume environment for our client in the energy management industry. Great team leadership and technology tools to get your work done in an efficient and pleasant manner. Work with high volume customer accounts and billing information to ensure accuracy and timely processing of customer bills. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.

Expected starting base salary $28 to $32 per hour.

Hybrid work schedule 3 days in office 2 days remote. Great team to work with and lots of opportunity to earn bonuses and promotions if hired on full time by the client.

Job Description:

• Analyze and monitor data received from utilities to generate accurate regular and complex billings.
• Analyzes incoming contracts and verifies client billing requirements.
• Identifies, tracks, and solves billing issues and addresses root cause problems including communicating with utilities and external clients.
• Identifies problems, anomalies, and trends by monitoring and analyzing customer usage.
• Provides accounting and billing support through the creation of reports and management of the billing service provided to clients.
• Utilizes SQL and Excel to perform ad-hoc analysis and maintain database queries that report on billing data.
• Develops special projects to automate and optimize current processes.
• Create reports for our activity-driven sales and management team.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
• Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration (or related field)
• 3 years of work experience as a Billing, Data, Financial, or Business Analyst or have held similar titles
