- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships and open communication with internal project teams to promote awareness of risk management practices and procedures.
- Establish collaborative relationships with subcontractors with a strong emphasis on confidentiality, tact and diplomacy.
- Respond to questions from internal and external sources regarding the prequalification and approval process, SDI and subcontractor risk management.
- Participate in formal risk management training sessions to promote and reinforce responsible risk management practices and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
- You are a dynamic, results-oriented problem solver and recognize that challenges do not always need the same solution.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain standards of accuracy under tight deadlines.
- You are able to win hearts and minds on the importance of continuing excellence in risk management in each of our operating groups.
- You are a great communicator and active listener.
- You have a passion for learning and development both for yourself and your team.
- You thrive in a fast-paced work environment and can adapt quickly to changing situations.
- Bachelor's degree in risk management, accounting, finance or similar business-related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in risk management, commercial management, surety underwriting or supply chain management role.
- Excellent knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis
- Construction industry or subcontractor risk management experience preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to quality standards and deadlines
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite
