Located in the vibrant Bay Area, this role offers a hybrid work schedule with on-site presence in Oakland three days a week. • Analyze and improve current compliance processes, providing guidance to officers and directors.
• Design and implement best practice guidance, procedures, controls, and metrics.
• Act as a liaison to Shared Services departments, offering support and guidance on compliance processes.
• Conduct quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) key self-assessments and ensure timely completion of testing activities.
• Complete utility-wide Environmental Compliance Reviews on high-risk areas.

• 5 years of experience at the senior consultant level.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong regulatory familiarity and expertise, with excellent compliance and risk experience in a corporate environment.
• Proven ability to partner and work collaboratively as a team player.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Advanced degree.
• Excellent Microsoft Visio skills.
• SharePoint design and management experience.
• Utility industry experience.
