Position: Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Overview

As Senior Finance Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis you will operate at the center of strategy, decision-making, and transformation. You will help shape enterprise priorities, influence senior leaders, and build the capabilities that define the future of Finance. You ll shape how decisions get made through insight-driven storytelling, transform processes and tools using data, automation, and AI, build and develop a high-performing team, and drive enterprise-wide impact.

This role emphasizes ambiguity, innovation, and influencing outcomes at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by translating complex financial and operational data into clear, compelling insights that influence enterprise decisions and strategic priorities.
  • Lead scenario planning, risk assessment, root cause analysis, and prioritization to focus leadership on the most critical opportunities and risks.
  • Lead operating plans, forecasts, and long-range planning activities with a value-creation mindset while ensuring disciplined execution and governance across FP&A processes.
  • Build and oversee advanced financial models, including scenario, sensitivity, workforce planning, and ROI-based investment analysis.
  • Support enterprise initiatives and cross-functional programs through financial leadership, business case development, performance tracking, and post-implementation analysis.
  • Contribute to long-term strategy with an enterprise-wide perspective that supports sustainable performance and growth.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering business partnership, influence, accountability, and continuous growth.
  • Leverage dashboards, analytics, predictive modeling, and AI/ML-enabled solutions to accelerate insight generation and optimize investment prioritization and cost management.
  • Champion automation, scalable solutions, and strong data governance to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and data quality across FP&A processes.
  • Deliver clear, concise financial storytelling and lead initiatives with disciplined project and process management, balancing strategic thinking with execution excellence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles
  • 3–5+ years of experience leading and developing teams
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinker with an enterprise mindset and strong business acumen; able to influence decisions through insight-driven analysis, advanced modeling, scenario planning, and problem-solving with disciplined execution
  • Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, experience with ERP and planning tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Anaplan, Adaptive) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI); automation mindset and interest in AI/advanced analytics
  • Strong leadership presence with accountability, curiosity, adaptability, and stakeholder awareness; comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving change
  • Experience supporting enterprise planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives; experience supporting complex, cross-functional programs
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or CFA preferred
Additional Information

This is a hybrid position. During the first three months, team members are expected to work onsite approximately three days per week in Oakland, CA or Rancho Cordova, CA for onboarding and training. After this period, the role transitions to approximately one day per week onsite.

Base pay information:
The national base pay range is a good-faith estimate for new hires; actual pay may vary based on KSAs, experience, education, certifications, and location. Pay Grade 24: $123,624 - $267,852.
