About the Role
Gensler seeks a full‑time Treasury Analyst to join the corporate finance team. The role is based in the Bay Area or Denver and will operate in a traditional in‑person work arrangement.
What You Will Do- Produce cash movement recommendations for the Treasury Manager based on analysis of global cash balances and entity cash requirements.
- Prepare daily cash position, ad‑hoc analysis, and weekly executive reports.
- Create cash and credit related accounting entries.
- Assist in managing a global purchasing card (P‑Card) program.
- Open and close bank accounts, update bank signatories, and respond to various bank compliance requests.
- Manage Gensler’s global cash forecasting program and contribute new ideas to continue innovating our models.
- Liaise with key banking partners and vendors to optimize Treasury effectiveness.
- Monitor Treasury costs to make recommendations on service changes.
- Monitor debt transactions, letters of credit, earned interest, and bank fees.
- Execute capitalization and repatriation strategies for our global entities while coordinating with Intercompany, Legal, Tax, and the Treasury Manager.
- Conduct international research and partner with regions on banking strategy, foreign currency issues, contract structuring, and payment acceptance.
- Produce client risk analysis reports to determine creditworthiness of our clients for regional teams.
- Compensation:
Denver $80‑85k, Oakland $90‑100k, plus bonuses and benefits.
- 2+ years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, economics, finance, or a quantitative field.
- Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite:
Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word; advanced beginner/intermediate Excel skills required;
Excel modeling skills a plus. - Previous finance experience desired; direct treasury experience is a plus.
- Experience with Kyriba or another treasury management system is a plus.
- Experience using AI tools is a plus.
- Self‑starter with ambition and an entrepreneurial spirit.
