Overview
Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers, engaging them via multiple channels including in‑person, by appointment, and virtually. They provide counsel, adopt a digital‑first mindset, assess customers’ banking needs, obtain and process account information, educate clients on deposit and loan products, and recommend solutions tailored to each customer’s goals.
Key Responsibilities- Build and nurture client relationships through proactive outreach, follow‑up, and ongoing education.
- Assess, process, and obtain customer and account information while maintaining compliance with policies.
- Educate clients on available deposit, loan, and digital products and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Open new consumer and business accounts, process service requests, and submit credit applications.
- Collaborate with branch team members to provide a consistent, optimal client experience.
- Leverage available resources and technologies to enhance the client experience and achieve operational excellence.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum four to five years of retail banking experience or equivalent training.
- National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z (required).
- Proven ability to build relationships through outreach and follow‑up.
- Effective client engagement and communication.
- Deep knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and retail products.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with sales campaigns and promotions.
- Proficiency with digital products and self‑service technologies.
- Ability to identify and recommend solutions that meet customer needs both reactively and proactively.
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location for all scheduled work days.
