Financial Analyst

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst with 2-4 years of experience to join our client's growing finance team. This individual will support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and strategic business initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Excel, experienced with SQL or Power BI, and able to transform financial data into actionable insights for business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analyses.

+ Perform budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual variance analysis.

+ Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.

+ Build and maintain financial models to support business decision-making.

+ Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and key business drivers.

+ Partner with Accounting during month-end close activities.

+ Develop dashboards and reporting packages for leadership.

+ Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis.

+ Support ad hoc financial projects, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.

+ Present findings and recommendations to management.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.

+ 2+ years of Financial Analyst, FP& A Analyst, Business Analyst, or related finance experience.

+ Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

+ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including:
Pivot tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

+ Experience in SQL and Power BI .
