Technical Summary

The Director of Treasury oversees the organization's treasury function, managing cash positions, liquidity, banking operations, payment systems, merchant processing, governance, and financial risk. This role provides financial stewardship through cash management, liquidity planning, banking relationships, fraud prevention, and treasury operations.

The Director collaborates with Finance, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, Supply Chain, KPWA, and other leaders to support business priorities, initiatives, acquisitions, and growth. This position establishes treasury policies and controls to ensure operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and strong risk management.

The Director leads the Treasury bank reconciliation team, offering direction and oversight to maintain continuity and align operations with enterprise goals. Through proactive financial management and collaboration, this role helps the organization meet operational needs and safeguard resources for long-term success.

Job Summary:

This managing level employee is responsible for overseeing and providing guidance to complex company financial activities across multiple business functions through managing the evaluation and summary of economic, market, and financial data, directing the execution and interpretation of financial analyses to identify risks and opportunities, managing large cross-functional projects or treasury components, and managing and negotiating vendor contracts and transitions while driving compliance to guidelines and requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates continuous learning and maintains a highly skilled and engaged workforce by aligning resource plans with business objectives; overseeing the recruitment, selection, and development of talent; motivating teams; preparing individuals for growth opportunities and advancement; staying current with industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices; providing guidance when difficult decisions need to be made; and ensuring performance management guidelines and expectations drive business needs.
  • Oversees the operation of multiple units and/or departments by identifying customer and operational needs; analyzing resources, costs, and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans; gaining cross-functional support for business plans and priorities; translating business strategy into actionable business requirements; obtaining and distributing resources; setting standards and measuring progress; removing obstacles that impact performance; guiding performance and developing contingency plans accordingly;

    and ensuring products and/or services meet customer requirements and expectations while aligning with organizational strategies.
  • Oversees complex company financial activities by ensuring team members, including external business partners, provide support to finance and operations; reviewing and approving reconciliation activities; optimizing controls for financial transactions; and ensuring financial processes are fully documented.
  • Directs treasury reporting efforts across multiple financial/business functions by overseeing the evaluation and summary of economic data, market conditions, and financial commitments; identifying and reporting key financial/business drivers, liabilities, and performance indicators (e.g., funding issues, returns on investment, cash-related risks, etc.) to senior management; and developing compelling presentations to convey key findings to executive leadership and external business stakeholders.
  • Directs the execution of complex analyses (e.g., financial, risk, regulatory, business) and the interpretation of results to ensure risks and opportunities are identified by influencing and communicating assumptions; overseeing the development of financial models consistent with regulatory, statutory, and legal guidelines and requirements; and validating conclusions and recommendations based on findings.
