Overview

The Center for Elders’ Independence (CEI) provides a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (P.A.C.E.) – a comprehensive healthcare model specifically designed for low-income, frail seniors. It combines medical and social services along with vigilant care planning and coordination to keep frail seniors safely living at home and in their communities. This unique and highly effective model utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach to care planning to drive high quality, affordable, integrated healthcare services to the elderly.

Description

The Enrollment Development Representative I (EDR I) supports all marketing, outreach and enrollment efforts for CEI’s Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). They conduct marketing events to increase PACE awareness within an assigned geographical area, develop relationships with key stakeholders, healthcare professionals, providers, and community-based organizations, and serve as the initial primary point of contact representing PACE to the senior population within culturally diverse and underserved communities.

The primary responsibility is to increase census for their assigned PACE center(s). They identify new referral sources, generate new leads, schedule visitors to tour PACE center(s), and procure qualified leads that lead to enrollments. The EDR I professionally represents the PACE program while maintaining strict adherence to local, state, and federal laws, CEI Business Code of Conduct, and Standards of Behavior.

They work as part of a local team, concentrating on delivering high quality services to all potential prospects and partners, and support the PACE Center Director with marketing plans and retention strategies to maintain participant census. Salary range: $78,974 – $118,460 annual base salary, based on market, experience, skills, abilities and work history.

Relevant Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business administration, or a related field of study preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of direct business or consumer outreach/marketing/sales experience required.
  • Healthcare business development experience and a thorough understanding of medical terminology and the healthcare reimbursement space – Medicare, Medi-Cal – preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of success in goal attainment.
  • Excellent customer service and service recovery skills.
  • Impeccable communication and presentation skills.
  • Bilingual preferred:
    English/Spanish;
    English/Cantonese or Mandarin Chinese;
    English/Vietnamese or other.
  • Highly proficient in Salesforce CRM and MS Office.
  • Passion for working with senior and underserved populations.
Physical and Travel Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, stoop, reach, lift (up to 40 pounds), bend, and use hand and wrist dexterity for keyboard use.
  • Travel within assigned territory up to 80% of the time to healthcare provider and agency sites, programs, and special functions.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance coverage required.
Essential Job Functions
  • Present and deliver presentations promoting the PACE program to various groups throughout the service area.
  • Produce self-generated qualified leads, schedule visitors for tours and presentations, conduct outreach, and follow up with all potential clients for enrollment.
  • Maintain and report production results daily, weekly, and monthly; keep accurate records to track individual productivity through the department systems such as CRM database, daily tracking reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Strictly adhere to State and Federal laws, DHS regulations, and CMS PACE Marketing Guidelines regarding marketing practices for Senior Care Services.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with referral sources within the PACE geographical service area.
  • Mail/deliver information about comprehensive health and social services to community-based organizations serving seniors in the PACE service area.
  • Meet and/or exceed minimum productivity targets, such as organizing and conducting a minimum of 2 events per month (1 internal and 1 external).
