Position: Traveling Certified Prosthetist Orthotist New United States; Travel Position

Overview

Oakland, California, United States – Travel Position. Cranial Technologies is the only company in the world completely dedicated to researching and treating plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) with over 300,000 babies successfully treated. We also provide Ear Well® treatment for infant ear shapes with over 600,000 successful outcomes.

We are looking for a Nationwide Traveling Certified Prosthetist‑Orthotist based out of Oakland, California. This full‑time role allows you to practice in a variety of Cranial Technologies locations across the United States.

Travel Details
  • You will travel to any state where we have a Cranial Technologies clinic. We’re currently in 32 states and continuing to grow.
  • Typical travel schedule:
    Monday afternoon/evening travel; work in clinic Tuesday–Friday; fly home Friday afternoon/evening. You are home on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Travel assignments are provided 2+ weeks in advance.
  • Assignments may be local or to another state; we look for candidates close to a major airport.
  • The company pays for travel expenses and provides a per diem.
Responsibilities

As a Clinician, you will treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with Ear Well®. You will work with families and pediatricians, develop relationships, and manage caseloads transferred from other clinicians.

Qualifications
  • Licensed PT, OT, Certified Prosthetist‑Orthotist, or Certified Orthotist.
  • Background in pediatrics preferred but not required; formal training and mentoring provided.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to travel extensively across the country.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced, new settings and building relationships with new teammates.

Compensation
  • Base pay range: $105,000 – $125,000 plus additional travel bonus.
  • Eligible for quarterly performance bonuses and annual raises.
