Critical Care Nurse in Oakland, CA

Deliver critical care in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit setting, providing expert nursing to patients with complex health needs. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU, utilizing advanced clinical skills and knowledge.
• Monitor patient conditions, interpret data, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and adjust care interventions accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Float to other units as needed to support patient care and hospital operations.

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Current California RN License.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience; 4 years preferred.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and manage critical situations effectively.

Schedule:

• Night shift, 4 days per week, 8-hour shifts (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM).
• Weekend rotation required, no on-call duties.
