Architect of Memorable Moments
As our Event Planning Manager (aka Convention Services Manager), you are the bridge between a client’s vision and a flawless reality. You’ll take the baton from Sales and lead the charge in executing high‑stakes corporate gatherings, chic social galas, and everything in between.
Your Mission- The Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, transforming their goals into detailed banquet event orders (BEOs) and floor plans.
- The Strategist: Manage event logistics, timelines, and budgets while ensuring we hit (and exceed) food and beverage minimums.
- The Collaborator: Work hand‑in‑hand with our Director of Catering Sales, Sales Managers and culinary teams to ensure every "wow" moment is delivered on time and on brand.
- The Revenue Driver: Identify opportunities to upsell and enhance the guest experience, contributing directly to the hotel’s bottom line and meeting planner satisfaction scores.
- Experience: You have 2 years or more of event planning experience
, ideally within an upscale or luxury hotel environment. You know the "hotel heartbeat" and thrive in it. - Hospitality Heart: You have a "yes, and" mentality. You’re obsessed with guest satisfaction and can navigate high‑pressure situations with grace.
- The Details: You’re the person who spots the crooked chair and the typo in the menu before anyone else does.
- The Gift of Gab: You can negotiate with a vendor, charm a CEO, and rally a banquet team—all before lunch.
- Tech & Business Savvy: You understand the "why" behind the "what," including budgeting, cost management, and revenue goals.
