About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Global Director of Talent Sourcing & Market Intelligence to lead and scale our global sourcing function. This leader will manage a distributed team of high-performing sourcers responsible for building proactive, high-quality candidate pipelines across our most critical roles worldwide.

This role sits at the intersection of talent strategy, workforce planning, employment brand, and business intelligence. You will design and execute a forward-looking sourcing strategy that ensures our teams have access to exceptional talent today and in the future. You will also build and operationalize a talent market intelligence program that informs business leaders, shapes hiring decisions, and enables long-term workforce planning.

Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What You’ll Do Global Sourcing Strategy:
  • Define and execute a comprehensive global talent sourcing strategy aligned with company growth priorities, and advise on the location strategy.

  • Build a framework to set clear, aggressive yet attainable goals and KPIs for our sourcers that will stretch them to continuously grow and excel in their careers.

  • Partner with the VP of Global Talent Acquisition & Talent Leaders to establish clear operating criteria defining which hiring requisitions are supported by centralized sourcing versus managed directly by recruiting teams, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and hiring efficiency.

  • Build scalable sourcing plans supporting Technical, GTM, and leadership hiring across regions.

  • Develop proactive talent pipelines for critical and emerging business capabilities.

  • Implement innovative sourcing methodologies, tools, and technologies to increase efficiency, quality, and diversity of pipelines.

Talent Market Intelligence:
  • Establish enterprise-wide market intelligence practices including:
  • Talent mapping

  • Competitive hiring analysis

  • Talent availability and location insights

  • Provide data-backed recommendations on where and how Fivetran should hire.

  • Deliver forward-looking trends and insights on talent supply, hiring risk, and competitor activity.

Data, Analytics & Hiring Predictability:
  • Champion a data-driven talent acquisition culture across Fivetran’s Talent Acquisition function.

  • Serve as the product owner for TA top of funnel dashboards and analytics in partnership with TA Operations.

  • Manage TA dashboards tracking key hiring metrics, including pipeline health, hiring plan progress, talent quality, and funnel conversion.

  • Implement data-driven operating mechanisms that improve hiring predictability, execution efficiency, and decision-making.

  • Establish measurable SLAs, KPIs, and performance frameworks across sourcing, recruiting and hiring teams.

  • Translate Talent Acquisition data into actionable business insights and executive-ready narratives.

Executive Partnership & Workforce Planning:
  • Partner with TA and Business leadership to anticipate talent demand ahead of organizational growth.

  • Support quarterly and annual workforce planning through talent and market insights.

  • Regularly present hiring performance, risks, and strategic recommendations to the leadership team.

Strategic & Special Projects
  • Personally drive sourcing and hiring strategy for executive and leadership-level searches across all the functions.

  • Partner directly with executive stakeholders on confidential or escalated hiring situations.

  • Step in as a hands-on leader to unblock priority searches impacting company execution.

  • Lead special talent initiatives tied to new market entry or strategic growth priorities.
