Data Engineer, IT Support
Our client, a well-known financial technology company, is looking for someone to join their team as a Lifecycle Operations Technical Manager. This role is fully remote!
* This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits offered*
In this role, you’ll work to modernize data integrations between internal systems and third-party marketing tools, focusing on scalability and operational stability. You’ll build and maintain automated monitoring and alerting tools, collaborate closely with Lifecycle Ops, Marketing, Data, and Engineering teams, and translate technical concepts into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
What You Will Be Doing- Contribute to the design and implementation of lifecycle infrastructure improvements that increase pipeline reliability and performance
- Modernize and scale integrations between internal systems and marketing automation platforms
- Build automated monitoring and alerting to proactively identify unhealthy or outdated syncs and workflows
- Support campaign setup and workflow execution when needed, balancing strategic improvements with hands‑on delivery
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
- 3–5 years of experience in email marketing, campaign management, lifecycle ops, or marketing operations
- Strong understanding of ESPs and marketing automation platforms
- Experience working on infrastructure, systems, or data pipeline improvements (directly or alongside engineering teams)
- Familiarity with tools like Iterable, Braze, or similar platforms
- Technical fluency (SQL, scripting, or automation experience is a plus)
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally with creatives, engineers, analysts, and product teams
- Experience with customer data platforms (CDPs) or marketing data integrations
- Exposure to monitoring, alerting, or operational tooling for lifecycle systems
