Senior Director, Deployment Operations

The Stellarus Commercial Technology Organization is responsible for the creation of the technology platforms which will power the healthcare payer systems to further streamline and reduce expense to reduce the costs for the members that we will support. As the Sr. Director of Deployment Operations you will report to the VP, Platform Engineering leader. In this role you are a strategic, execution-oriented leader to build and scale our forward deployment operations function.

This role sits at the intersection of customer delivery, process architecture and AI-enabled workflow transformation. You will lead embedded deployment teams, design scalable processes and partner closely with Product, Development, and more to deploy products that create measurable value, to create processes that are AI-native, and to transition strong relationships to Customer Success.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

• Responsible for discovery, implementation, workflow design, and value realization for enterprise customers
• Serve as senior escalation point and thought partner for complex deployments
• Develop playbooks, standards, and repeatable processes for fast, high-quality deployments
• Build tight cross-functional alignment with product and dev teams, ensuring real-world workflows inform roadmap priorities and design
• Map current state customer workflows and data pipelines
• Architect future state processes that integrate seamlessly and fully leverage the products
• Consult on automation and AI opportunities to drive efficiencies and adoption across customers
• Develop client-specific change management practices, governance and clear handoffs across Deployment and Customer Success
• Build / influence solutions that allow Operations to maximize personal productivity and customer experience (AI-native)
• Define KPIs, performance dashboards, desk level procedures, and process mining to measure outcomes and cross-sell opportunities
• Build deployment operations function from the ground up including roles, hiring plans, processes and solutions/tools
• Implement and use tools that maximize efficiency and lead the organization in AI-native process design
• Hire, mentor and scale a high performing team

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Requires a college degree Computer Science, Engineer or relevant degree and/or equivalent experience

Requires at least 12+ years of prior relevant experience, including 6 years of people/management experience

• Requires in-depth knowledge of deploying technology with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, architecture, analytics, etc Experience in a fast-paced, growth focused organization
• Experience in process improvement and optimization
• Experience implementing AI solutions with business partners and/or customers and understanding of data and data analytics
• Ability to influence senior leadership at clients and within an enterprise
