Software Release Manager

We are currently seeking a Software Release Manager for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Oakland, CA
.

Details for the position are as follows:

• Pay: $72 - 77.59/hr on W2
• 6-month assignment with potential to extend based on continued need and performance
• Mostly remote role; occasional onsite presence may be required in Oakland, CA (Filbert office)
• You will be responsible for managing all software releases, including Autonomous Public Roads releases, for an autonomous delivery robotics program.
• You will oversee multiple concurrent releases with varying deployment targets and operational requirements.
• You will collaborate cross-functionally with AI, software, firmware, hardware, Dev Ops, and operations teams, while coordinating with distributed teams across California and Arizona.
• You will ensure release readiness across integrated hardware, firmware, and software requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of release management experience supporting integrated hardware, firmware, and software projects (autonomous vehicles, robotics, or similar highly technical environments preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of Git
• Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
