The Data Management Analyst will play an important role on the Enterprise Data Management team with impact across the company. This exciting role provides the opportunity to be a critical part of a growing team that is driving our company’s capabilities into the future. The ideal candidate will blend strategic thinking, strong organizational skills, excellent data management and data governance expertise and the ability to develop trusted relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.

An understanding of data governance, data risks, Quality Assurance, data routines, data systems, technology platforms, banking, and data tools will be important attributes for success.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Directly responsible for developing and implementing a Quality Assurance program to demonstrate Lines of Business adherence to Enterprise Data Management Policy and Associated Standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Execute Quality Assurance activities to validate metadata quality, completeness, reasonableness, and data quality tied to data governance framework in collaboration with lines of business and technology partners to ensure adherence
  • Partner closely with data operations and enterprise technology to develop/maintain robust data governance controls within the data applications, tools and platforms as a part of the data journey
  • Execute the data quality assurance program to monitor, report and elevate stakeholder’s non-adherence to the data management leaders
  • Contribute to the data governance working Group and other relevant data forums on the Data Quality Assurance program process, challenges and other relevant updates
  • Maintain the data process and adherence metrics associated with the Data Management Policy and associated Standards/Guidelines
  • Execute the data issue remediation efforts within the data governance group;
    Partner with lines of business to assist them in the data issues remediation process
  • Play a key role in the yearly refresh of Data Management Policy, Standards, Guidelines, data roles and responsibilities to ensure appropriate accountability for data stewardship across the firm from Quality Assurance perspective
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science/analytics, business administration, information technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in data governance, Quality Assurance program, metadata, data risk, data quality, or a related field
  • Strong understanding and extensive hands‑on experience on data risks, data governance, quality assurance, metrics/reporting and stakeholder management is required
  • Strong knowledge of data tools, Microsoft suite (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and experience accessing data from multiple database types and platforms is required
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing data quality assurance program with significant banking experience preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be proactive, deadline oriented, analytical, and have a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively with partners at all levels of the organization
