IT Project Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Oakland, CA. This role is ideal for a technology leader with strong information technology management experience, proven supervisory skills, and the ability to support enterprise‑level systems, applications, projects, budgets, vendors, and cross‑functional stakeholders. The IT Manager will lead assigned technology teams, guide strategic initiatives, improve service delivery, and help ensure that business applications and information systems support operational efficiency.
This position offers the opportunity to work with supportive leadership, mentor an IT team, and play a visible role in technology decisions that impact organization‑wide operations. The ideal candidate will bring a balanced mix of technical knowledge, people leadership, project oversight, customer service, and strategic planning.
- Manage assigned IT employees, including hiring, training, mentoring, performance management, coaching, and staff development.
- Lead the development and implementation of goals, work standards, policies, procedures, and short‑ and long‑range technology plans.
- Manage budgets for assigned technology units, including forecasting staffing, equipment, supply needs, expenditures, and budget adjustments.
- Evaluate service delivery methods, workflows, support systems, and internal reporting relationships to identify and implement improvements.
- Partner with internal departments on the planning, development, and implementation of technology programs, systems, and projects.
- Manage application and platform administration, systems analysis, vendor performance, contract support, and cross‑functional project coordination.

- Compensation: $80.00 to $85.00 per hour.
